I’ve just done
a couple of days dog sitting which I love, but it’s great to be back at
home! Looking around me there’s chaos,
but Annie-the-home-enhancer is coming later so it will be wonderful! There’s
something magical about being at home.
There is peace in my home — no pressure to impress, no need to rush.
It’s where I can recharge, daydream, and rediscover small joys: a warm blanket,
my knitting, a good audiobook, or the rooks cawing in the trees nearby.
Here I can
thrive. Here is the magical place where I
can hear myself think. I can talk out
loud to myself if I want to. I can be
really lazy and there’s no-one to judge.
I can get to know myself a little better and I think I am pretty good
company.
Hope you love
your home as much as I love mine.
Coming back after 3 days away, I realise how precious my home is. I'm so grateful to have somewhere to luve, and thank the Lord everyday
ReplyDeleteLive not luve. But I do luv it!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a wonderful typo. It could be live, it could be love. Perfect!
DeleteWelcome home! Your home sounds like a lovely place where you love to be. And that's what's important, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteYes. A comfortable home is a brilliant gift.
DeleteHome is everything, having lived here for 16 years, we have done everything we wanted to make it warm and cosy. Coming home is always brilliant.
ReplyDeleteIt's the best place to be!
