Writing about my lino cutting playtime reminded me that I haven't blogged about some playtime I had in July. I went on a hand sewing workshop but I have to confess I brought my stuff home and finished it by machine!
Several ideas for small gifts I feel.
But maybe without the wobble on the coaster.
Fabric pot |
Wobbly coaster |
Key fob |
I've never made those little pots, they do look handy, yours is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt's already in use to store hankies neat my chair
DeleteYour 'wobbly' looks like a 'mug rug' , something that became popular a couple of years ago. The little fabric pot would make a lovely gift filled with soap or something similar.
ReplyDeleteThe instructor called it a mug rug too.
DeleteI think playtime is so important to refresh our souls. I like your fabric pot, I can see you are having fun. The lino cutting sounds interesting, I will click on that link next.
ReplyDeleteI am very good at playtime. When I was working I had a study but I now have a playroom.
ReplyDeleteI like to play too. Unfortunately I was raised to believe that playtime was only to happen after chores were done so not only do I NOT have playtime much I do NOT get the chores done either! I think I need an attitude adjustment.
ReplyDeleteYou absolutely need an attitude adjustment! Playtime is great!
DeleteMy afternoons and evenings are my playtime. I love your box and coaster/mug rug. The key fob and notebook cover would make lovely gifts.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
You are always so productive and practical with your “playtime”. I am having difficulty motivating myself to anything now Mother has passed away and I sit and ponder rather than play:(
