Update

Life is a tad disrupted at the moment.

I was rather ill for a couple of weeks and the least said about that the better!  Thank you to those who contacted me, though.

My lovely landlord has decided that the time had come to do various adaptations to my house to enable me to live there as long as possible, so it has been decided to create ramped access at both the front and back doors, ramped access to my garden, modifications to some of the doors and to replace the bathroom with a wet room.  And today work has started on the wet room.

And my landlord thinks that there will be a considerable trip hazard while the wet room is being created, and as for the time being there won't be a loo, it has been decided that I have to go to a holiday "cottage".  So I am staying at this lovely property about eight miles from home and am treating the time as a holiday.

  1. Whew, I just posted on your other blog that I was a bit concerned. How wonderful to see a post from you, and how lovely that you have a landlord that wants to make sure you are comfortable and able to continue living in your home.

    God bless.

  6. What a super place to stay and your landlord is good having your home adapted for you. Hope you'll be e very comfortable when you're home is finished. Read back about your tablet dilemma we have our prescriptions sent to our local chemist and could have them delivered, but while we can we collect them, but we do allow a week each time so always request our meds well before we run out. These firms who advertise are Nationwide Companies and not local so we wouldn't use one.

So sorry to hear you have been ill! Glad things are looking up for you and for the helpful enhancements for your future. I was inspired by your knitting temperature scarf project and started one of my own this year. The color changes are taking some getting used to as I am not an accomplished knitter, but I am enjoying the process. Take care and may God richly bless you!
