I've done quite a run of daily posts, probably the longest unbroken run I have ever had.
I've reflected on words, including my own name. I've also moaned about elderspeak.
I've thought about the garden and the chap who keeps it looking good.
I've written about the things I do to keep myself happy, like walking, drawing, eating ice cream.
I've talked about Lincolnshire, especially Brigg and initiated you into its distinctive language.
I've explained my Sunday gear when it was too hot to wear it!
Yesterday when I got home from church I was too hot (and tired) to do anything - again.
So I've run out of ideas for blog posts. Have you got any?
How about something on the life of your street e.g. there is a man living at the other end who always wears red trousers and grows gladioli and a woman who always walks her dog bang on 4 o'clock? Or some special/odd memory from your childhood. I don't have a blog, so I can't say what would be particularly successful.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tracy. Those are two possibilities. If/when you start a blog be sure to let me know!
DeleteIt's that time of year, a bit too hot to do much, nothing interesting happening worth mentioning on a blog, I do like the idea of your neighbours being a topic, I look forward to your next post.
ReplyDeleteI'll think about the street.
DeleteI get to that point frequently, and find that I have nothing to write about......so drivel on about my garden! Always interesting to read whatever you write.
ReplyDeleteI'll post about my garden after Jack comes next.
DeleteReviving a post from the past or just writing about books read is what I do when I've been nowhere/done nothing to blog about!
ReplyDeleteAnd you don't do that very often! You always find something to blog about!
