You know what I mean!
I'm finding it hard to get going with Christmas preparation this year. I've had several attempts at making my cards but it's just not happening.
I've bought most of the ingredients for making Christmas puddings - the current order list is for sixteen - but I haven't started weighing and mixing.
There's fabric and patterns waiting to be combined but my sewing machine stands idle.
I did say that I would try and do something each month but I have definitely failed at that one! I've bought and collected a few bits but not enough.
How is everyone else getting on?
I've started thinking about it.... but that's all!
ReplyDeleteYes, thinking about it is my favourite but too.
DeleteThere are so many family birthdays in October and November so I can't think about Christmas yet.
ReplyDeleteI don't have that excuse, unfortunately.
DeleteTime stops for no one, summer has just rushed by, hopefully it's coming back for the weekend, dry, warm and sunny. I am starting my baking, everything else can wait until November.
ReplyDeleteWell done you!
DeleteI agree with you about the thinking then not doing. I can’t seem to get into the spirit of making things at all except some samples for my craft group. Must do better!! Catriona
ReplyDeleteYes, we must both do better!
DeleteMy daughter, very helpfully, painted some Christmas designs on cardstock for me to be made into cards! Can I claim that as a start? Otherwise, not thinking about Christmas. I generally don't until after Thanksgiving, anyway.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter sounds wonderful!
DeleteThinking about Christmas and making a list. There are a few things I am ready to make or at least have the items necessary to make them.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I've got the stuff, just not the oomph!
DeleteI was not thinking of Christmas being so close, but you reminded me. I did talk about Thanksgiving today and whether to order the smoked turkey we like. I just made a 9 photo framed collage for my sister's birthday, made it on Shutterfly, and it turned out great.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a lovely gift.
