Over the past eight years I've lost five stone but I can't say I feel any better. Maybe I need to lose a lot more before that happens. The only real benefit has been that my self respect has rocketed. But I had success with a Low Carb/High Fat way of eating when I lost a stone and a half and, more importantly, my bloods showed I was no longer classed as diabetic. I felt so much better - more energy, slept well, no brain fog, etc. so can anyone explain why I allowed myself to gradually revert to old eating habits and am now back to that previous 'overweight' with all the same symptoms? Now trying again, with the extra proviso of eating gluten-free. I had lost 7lbs a year since 2014 but 2020 was a disaster. However, i think my brain has now adjusted to the idea that life has changed and some of those changes will be permanent so there's no point in comfort eating. Hot water heater went out Wednesday evening or that's when we noticed. Needs a very tiny part that wasn't stocked by plumber who installed this heater 4 months ago. Part will be shipped to us. Crossing fingers that it happens early next week. Our well water is incredibly cold so no cold showers possible. Did go for hot one at Emily's yesterday and tonight heated water in hot pot and filled bathroom sink to wash. No fun!Marciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00992626996077874832noreply@blogger.com
