I'm glad I went to Normanby last week

I'm glad I went to Normanby last week.  Almost the first thing I saw was this fine fellow sunning himself.  There's something very supercilious about a peacock, don't you think?

The walk/trundle around the park was wonderful with bright sunshine showing these glorious primroses to their best advantage.

Why is that this glrious reflection of the sun is so undervalued? Surely I can't be the only person who finds them beautiful.

And today we have had rain, hail, snow amd almost everything else bar fog.

I'm glad I went to Normanby last week

  1. Sounds like you are having our weather -- minus the snow. Yes, I think it is a good thing you went to Normanby last week.

  2. That made me smile, as I look out of my window this morning, yes you have guessed it we have fog.

  4. I love primroses, unfortunately some bees must have been on some primulas and now we have mutations. Spring colours are so uplifting and I think the new fresh leaves on trees are wonderful to see - they darken and weary so quickly. X
